The Aloha Foundation believes in the power of education. In Brazil and Zanzibar, we run community centers where we provide vulnerable young people with a safe space, strengthen their skills, and inspire them to become self-reliant.
We offer sports such as surfing, skateboarding, and football, and we invest in their future through English lessons and homework support.

Since 2015, Aloha has been running a community center in the favela of Barra do Ceará in Fortaleza, in northeastern Brazil, where 65 young people come every day. We literally keep them off the streets, away from the dangers of drugs and prostitution.
We fill the days of the Alohakids with surfing, skateboarding, and football, English lessons, and a variety of creative workshops.
Since 2025, Aloha has been providing homework support every weekday to 16 young people in Bwejuu, Zanzibar.
Under the inspiring leadership of teacher Husna, we strive to narrow the gap between free public schools and private schools on the island, with special attention to Mathematics, Swahili, and English.
